How to score a kabaddi match on your phone
Paper scoresheets miss points and nobody outside the ground can follow the match. With RaidzOn you score every raid with a few taps, the app works out outs, revivals, all outs and do-or-die raids for you, and fans can follow live. It works without internet, too.
1. Start a match
Open raidzon.com on your phone and tap Score. You don't need an account to score. Tip: add RaidzOn to your home screen so it opens like an app, even offline.
2. Add the two teams
Enter both team names and the seven starters for each side, with their jersey numbers, plus up to five substitutes. Choose the half length (20 minutes by default) and which team raids first. In a hurry? Quick match fills in blank names for you; it is then saved as a practice match that does not count towards player stats.
3. Pick the raider
Tap the player who is raiding. The 30-second raid clock starts, and it turns red with a beep in the last 10 seconds. The half clock starts with the first raid of each half.
4. Record what happened in the raid
- Successful: the raider touched defenders and got back. Pick each defender who is out; the raiding team gets a point for each and revives the same number of players.
- Empty / bonus only: no touch. Tick Bonus if the raider crossed the bonus line with six or seven defenders on court.
- Tackled: the defenders stopped the raider. Pick the defender who gets the tackle point. With three or fewer defenders on court it is a super tackle (2 points), and RaidzOn adds the extra point itself.
- Self-Out: the raider stepped out of the court.
Then tap Confirm raid. If the raid clock runs out, RaidzOn asks the officials' decision before you continue.
5. Fix a mistake
Tap Undo last event. It reverses the latest event and restores the score, players and revival queue exactly as they were.
6. Half time and full time
Tap End first half, then Start second half; the other team raids first. At the end tap End regulation. If the scores are level you can accept a draw or play a tie-break (five raids per team, then golden raids).
7. Share the live score
Sign in with your phone number before the match and you get a live link to share on WhatsApp. Anyone who opens it sees the score, the current raider and every event as it happens. If the internet drops, keep scoring: every raid is saved on your phone and uploads when you're back online.
