How to run a kabaddi tournament from your phone
Fixture lists on paper, score updates in WhatsApp groups and a points table worked out by hand: RaidzOn replaces all of it. Here is how to set up and run a kabaddi tournament, from the first team to the final.
1. Create the tournament
Sign in with your phone number, open Tournaments → My tournaments and tap Host your own tournament. Enter the name, venue, start date and half length.
2. Add teams and squads
Add each team with a squad of 7 to 20 players (name, mobile number and jersey number). Phone numbers stay private: they link each player to their own stats and are never shown on public pages. Teams can also find your tournament in Explore and tap Play in this tournament to send their saved squad; you approve or reject each request.
3. Choose a format and fixtures
- League: one points table with every team.
- Groups + knockout: group tables, then knockout rounds for the top teams up to the final, with an optional third-place match.
- Knockout: a straight bracket.
Generate the fixtures or add them yourself, and set or change match times. A team can only play one live match at a time in a tournament, so clashing fixtures wait.
4. Score each fixture
On match day, open the fixture and tap Score this match. The squads are filled in already. Score raid by raid (see how to score a kabaddi match); it works offline and uploads when you're back online.
5. Standings and leaderboards update themselves
Every completed match updates the points table (win 3, draw 1, loss 0), the bracket and the leaderboards of top raiders, top defenders and total points.
6. Let fans follow
Your tournament gets a public page with the points table, fixtures and results, the bracket and the top players. Each match has a live link that shows the score raid by raid. Share them in your WhatsApp groups; fans don't need to sign in. People can also join (follow) the tournament to see its live matches on their home screen.
Free to use. Set up your tournament in a few minutes.
